Schindler Solar Impulse

As a main partner of the Solar Impulse solar-powered airplane, Schindler Elevator Corporation had a unique opportunity to create high-level visibility for the brand and to position the company as an industry pioneer through a large-scale, orchestrated communications program. Strategically timed with the “Across America” Solar Impulse flight and the launch of the Schindler Solar Elevator, G&S helped produce a series of Schindler-hosted customer and employee events with over 1,000 attendees between April 15 and July 12, 2013 in San Francisco, Washington, and New York, garnering media coverage, building excitement and inspiring pride within the company along the way. In addition, G&S provided media and strategic message training, as well as support for employee engagement initiatives such as social media contests and fan giveaways. As a result, Schindler generated high-levels of media coverage in North American trade and consumer media with a total circulation of over 900 million.
