G&S and several clients were honored in 2014 for PR and marketing excellence in business and communications. The Holmes Report named our integrated media program for Dow Water and Process Solutions the SABRE Award winner for B2B Marketing Campaign of the Year. The Public Relations Society of America recognized our work on the U.S. relaunch of insurance technology provider Xuber with an Award of Excellence for business marketing. The International Association of Business Communicators bestowed its Gold Quill Excellence Award on our special event for Syngenta’s Advanced Crop Lab opening. Huffington Post and Forbes Headline G&S Conference
Our second annual “Welcome to the Global Street Fight” conference welcomed senior communicators, marketers and academics to an exclusive program focused on disruptive business ideas for today’s hyper-competitive global marketplace. The invitation-only event featured speakers who drive today’s boldest conversations in the media industry. Guest speakers included Mark Howard, chief revenue officer, Forbes Media (pictured at right); Jimmy Soni, managing editor, The Huffington Post; Evan Shapiro, president of Pivot, a Participant Media company; and Robert Fronk, EVP of Nielsen. 2014 Sense & Sustainability® Study and Salon
Since 2010, the G&S Sense & Sustainability Study has gauged the opinions of more than 2,000 U.S. adults on the corporate commitment to “going green.” For the fifth anniversary edition this year, we also examined public perceptions about the impact of human activities on climate change. Our study polled climate change skeptics, believers and the unsure to learn about their attitudes toward the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges, such as water scarcity, food waste, renewable energy, and fair treatment and safety of laborers.
