This client was set to open the world’s first global-scale manufacturing facility that was capable of making commercial-grade plastic resins from corn. The company wanted to commemorate its first manufacturing facility and reward employees for their dedication to bringing the plant online. Working closely with the client, G&S helped create a program that included a multi-day event and plant tours attended by more than 450 global employees, customers, public officials and media.

Creatively Recognizing Employee Achievements #321

G&S developed a premier employee recognition program for a Fortune 500 chemical company client that symbolized the highest achievement in quality performance at company facilities across the United States. G&S successfully structured a program that bestowed honor and recognition to outstanding employees, and creatively told the story of their accomplishments. The program, which G&S coordinated for 11 years, was recognized as the premier employee recognition program within all of the chemical producers divisions and helped boost morale within the rank and file, while providing employees with a way to showcase their accomplishments both internally and externally.

To increase acceptance and understanding of company-wide initiatives relating to improved customer interface processes, a major chemical client needed a cost-effective way to unite its marketing and sales professionals globally while maintaining geographic and cultural diversities. G&S developed an electronic newsletter that featured news stories, education initiatives and best practices from each of the five global geographic areas. The hyperlinked online document allowed for easy readability and usability, while at the same time, significantly reduced production and distribution costs over traditional print methods.
